Samudera Necklace is a part of our Cinta Laut Kita collection which means Love Our Oceans in English. This collection was made due to the overflowing trash that can be found in our beautiful oceans here in Indonesia. Our oceans might look perfect at a distance, but there are still rubbish floating at sea. Our pendants are made from plastic bottle caps collected in Jakarta. We used blue, white, and gold colours to resemble the ocean, the waves, and the sand. We used plastic bottle caps as bottled drinks are still one of the most common single use plastic purchases world wide. We want our users to be more aware of their plastic consumption, as plastic is designed to last a life time, thats why we still find plastic waste from decades ago still in great condition. Our products are all sourced and handmade locally, to support local craftsmen. Our packaging is also reusable as well as plastic free.
